May 2013

CS3 graduates from the Small Business Administration 8(a) program in under 20 months from its initial 8(a) certification.

March 2013

CS3 is awarded the 5-year/$11.6M protective services contract to provide armed security services for the Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Reclamation at the Shasta and Keswick Dams and Reservoirs in California.

February 2013

CS3 is awarded a protective services subcontract under the Naval Facilities Engineering Command’s Global Contingency Services program to provide protective services to multiple locations in Japan. Services include access control, mobile patrol, and alarm monitoring. 

December 2012

CS3‘s Quality Management System is recertified to conform to ISO 9001 standards.

September 2012

Brad Naylor, formerly the Quality and Training Manager for the Chenega Corporation Security Strategic Business Unit, joins the leadership team of CS3 as its Director of Operations to oversee all field operations and operations support services for both domestic and OCONUS contracts. 

August 2012

CS3 is awarded a Sole Source Award by the Department of Defense to provide highly trained and specially selected armed protective services personnel to OCONUS worksites. 

August 2012

NASA awards CS3 the 5-year/$75M NASA Johnson Space Center Protective Services Contract (JSCP) to provide a full range of services, including armed uniformed security; security system installation, operation and maintenance; locksmith services, personnel security, and emergency management; Emergency Dispatch Center; and Johnson Space Center Protective Services Training. Managed from the Johnson Center Operations Directorate's Protective Services Division, protective services include multiple NASA centers including Johnson Space Center, Ellington Field, Sonny Carter Training Facility, El Paso Forward Operating Location, White Sands Test Facility and White Sands Complex in New Mexico.

September 2011

NASA awards CS3 the 5-year/$155M NASA Kennedy Space Center Protective Services Contract (KPSC) to provide fully interoperable protective services including: physical security operations; personnel security; access control; badging & PIV; 911 dispatch; firefighting, fire prevention and fire protection engineering; aircraft rescue and firefighting; advance life support ambulance services; emergency management and protective services training including the management and operation of the NASA Protective Services Training Academy (NPSTA).

CS3 receives its 8(a) certification from the Small Business Administration

March 2011

David Pine, formerly the Director of Operations for DHS and US army Programs for CSPS, LLC, joins CS3 as its Director of Business Development to manage its opportunity pipeline, capture efforts, bid development, and marketing.

January 2011

CS3 is established within the Chenega Corporation’s Security Strategic Business Unit with Timothy Lamb as its President. CS3’s entry into the Chenega family of companies and its Security Strategic Business Unit is a continuation of Chenega Corporation’s legacy of starting and developing world-class protective services companies providing outstanding customer service in the federal contracting market.
